Please remember if the Council Bluffs Public Schools are closed for bad weather, Inter-Faith will be closed.

Please contact West Central Community Action at 712-322-2621 to apply for LIHEAP, the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Households including persons who are 60 years old and older or disabled may apply starting October 1, 2023.

All others may apply from November 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024.

What We Are

Inter-Faith Response, Inc. is a private non-profit non-denominational organization whose mission is to provide assistance to those people in Pottawatamie County who are in crisis or who do not know where or how to access help in resolving  their emergency or long term needs.

Who We Are … 

The Director and staff of Inter-Faith Response are all volunteers. This keeps the administrative  costs at a  minimum. Our administrative costs are met by contributions from a number of churches.  Direct client assistance and costs are met by contributions from individuals, organizations, and churches, as well as grants.
